oh that's hilarious (in hind sight) glad no one was hurt. Gotta love that sandy soil there, you never know what's underneath it...
Hope they get it down in one piece! (and the rest of the tree). lol

Bama, do tell what happened? They want to use one of those gizmos in my yard, now I'm afraid!!

There is another video on the same site that shows a little on how they got the truck down.

(2) cranes, one raising the boom, while the other let the front end of the truck down slowly.

They say, the limb they cut off shifted and the weight was enough to sink the rear outriggers into the wet ground.

I think they misjudged the weight of the limb and the angle the boom was extended. On dry ground, they probably would not have had a problem.
