A quote from your site.

"Our flowers are fresher that what you will find in traditional flower shops in the UK , since we buy flowers internationally delivered to the UK and shipped out via our Free flower delivery service the same day . "

So what do you hope to gain from chumming with a bunch of traditional florists?

Looking at your site, I'm assuming you are drop ship only? Do you have a studio at your residence or are you only "post delivery"? I notice you also so wine and chocolates, I'm assuming you have no physical store or studio but totally online?
How about it Brit members??

i am not the ceo , i am simply a designer , it is not my site , i just work for them, currently from my residence
they have physical stores in london where we prepare the flowers , it is not just "pure online" , anyway i am not here to talk about their site , i am here to talk about flowers

Thank you for answering the questions.

Where did you learn floral design? Also, please explain how you work for them from your residence.

Because you have given your employers website please don't be surprised if they become part of your persona here... after all you would be their representative in this community.

I look forward to your answers.

I've used Serenata several times to bypass Interflora for UK deliveries. Never any problems, and same-day coverage to most/all of the island. Also, they do a decent job of email marketing :)

IIRC, Tim Huckabee did some training with them a few years ago, and posted a coupon code for US members to use when ordering in the UK.

I'm also interested in hearing about how you design from home for the shop. Do they pick up from your res. for delivery? Are you mostly preparing couriered pieces?

I am on vacation in Mexico but I keep contact with some trainees at home and I am also doing some photography over here to keep them inspired. Noramlly I don't work from home though, we do the design when we get in the flowers from our suppliers. I was trained in floral design at Out of the Bloom Flower Design School UK

Thanks for answering some of our questions. However, I'm still wondering about what Ryan asked. Thanks.

after visiting the afore mentioned website......I too have my reservations.........so, at this time, I have to cast my vote as no to flowerchat membership. However, in fairness to the applicant, since he or she is like me, a designer employee, perhaps if he/she decides to join as an independent member......then I might vote yes at that time.
