Tricycle with Water Tank

Ouch...the price hurts but maybe the description would be useful for someone who could make this. Any WPI engineering students that need a summer project?

Good find Helen! And we do have a vocational school....that is a good suggestion. But I'd love to find a picture with specs of the bike with tank thing...it's got to be out there. The picture is one I took in Old Montreal a couple summers ago.

I'm not so worried about cost (well, yeah, of course I don't want to spend a ton of money though!) - I was thinking we could find a corporate sponsor and let them advertise on the tank. Thinking Polar Soda! Unless it's cheap - then I'll be the corporate sponsor!

Of course it's all moot if I can't find a spigot and a place to house it in the vicinity of where it's being used! Need to bug my city councilor. :)

Here's another source for tanks:

I agree with Linda, I think it going to have to be a custom job for someone.

I will add that we have one of the waterboys on wheels in one of our locations and it's quite heavy and a little awkward to move around. I think it would work better if ours had larger wheels.

I have used both a Tanks-a-lot water tank and a Water Boy. If you buy something premade, go with the water boy. If you are going to have it made look at pesticide tanks--that is more like what you see in the picture. I used to have one we threw in the back of a small pickup truck for watering.
