Tropical Plant Industry Exhibition

For those who are unaware of it, the Tropical Plant Industry Exhibition will be held Jan 14-16 in Ft. Lauderdale. http://www.fngla.org/TPIE/

We go every couple of years. If you ship plants from Florida it's a great place to meet new growers and see new product.

Having it in Florida in the middle of January doesn't hurt, either! This may be our year to attend again.

I haven't gone to TPIE in years.... but I was just talking about this show with my brother. Might have to take a short trip this year and see if shipping my own plants once again is feasible..... the selection and quality locally in PA is just getting worse and worse.

Forget the plants..of course they are better coming from here..but think...SAWGRASS MILLS....right about that time, all the "winter" clothes are on sale...ten minutes from my house....will treat you to an airboat ride if you give me a heads up! Then an excursion to the Mall....nothing like it down here at least...

For the uneducated, SawGrass Mills is a MEGA mall... not for the guys unless you like to shop. For the life of me I can't figure out why you would.

Ok, a side trip for yu to the Man Mall...boats, hunting gear, fishing..you name it..the ladies can sit on the deck and sip a tropical drink while you all salivate over odd looking clothing that looks like woods or something...talk about not being able to figure that one out...whew...most unattractive colors...and spoltchy too...lol

Yea, Mark that Man Mall is something else and then there is always Home Depot next door to the Sawgrass OH, and a wonderful Black and Decker outlet right in the mall----and I think we could wrestle up an extra bike for you if you wanted to tour the local bike hangouts with us!
