I am going to start this thread over again......Jamese had won the last round, and never began a new round. I would like for one of the moderators to sticky this if they would.

The rules of Twenty Questions are simple. One person picks a subject....in this case...related to the floral industry. Then people take turns asking one question in an effort to guess what the subject is. If twenty questions are asked and no one has guessed the subject, then the person who 'stumped' everyone picks a new subject and begins again.

Since our floral industry is so varied......A listed category should be announced that the subject is a part of.

For example: The subject is CARNATION the announced category would be Fresh Flowers.

This can be fun ..... on another forum that I belong to ...a sci-fi forum, they have a twenty questions thread that has continued for 109 pages. I'd love to see us florists top that.

The next posting will officially begin the Twenty Questions - Flowerstyle competition.

READY...... SET ........ GO !!!!!!

This is a standard DECORATIVE technique

No, it's not a topiary, but you could use this technique to help add decoration to a topiary

Adding ribbon/bow to an arrangement?

Is it an armeture sp?

Nope - it is not an accesory pic, ribbon/bow, and not an armature.

The AIFD book of terminology gives the definition of this technique as a purely decorative feature.

well if not banding how about GLITTERING!!! HA! that's pur decoration for you.
BTW I didn't see antherians response before I posted mine! oops sorry

Antherian AIFD was the first one to guess correctly.....It was BANDING.

Banding is the technique of wrapping bands of decorative material around a stem, bloom, or other floral material for a decorative purpose. Binding is similar to banding except that binding holds the materials together into a singular grouping.

SO ANTHERIAN AIFD - Your turn !!!!!
