Twitter Question ~ Do you let anyone who wants to follow or do you block people? I've got a few that I'm unsure of. I even blocked a few, but am now having second thoughts.

I made my personal twitter by request only, but for AFH I have it open to all.

I usually don't worry about anyone following me. The only ones I block are obvious spammers. But you can make your updates private.

For personal stuff, privacy might be an option. For business accounts, the more followers the better!

Each follower is an internal link to your twitter profile, giving it a better chance of ranking for your name. The number of followers also raises your perceived prominence on Twitter.

Don't worry about the obvious spammers - quite often they will unfollow and refollow several times trying to get your attention. Ignore them and they might unfollow you - or not.

I agree with Ryan, follow me, the more followers I have the better whether they are in a related business or not.

Twitter on the news this morning... seems folks are beginning to complain heavily about the amount of advertising being allowed on Twitter...

It was on broadcast news, I'm trying to locate an online story to post...

They are the purists - the vocal minority.

Of course, they aren't paying for the service and think Twitter should operate free of charge.
