Hmmm... UPS cancelled 1.6 BILLION DOLLARS in contracts with AirBus for new planes for this year...

Sighting consumer demand for GROUND transportation, and CONsumer decline in Next Day and Second day shipments.

THeir study suggests CONsumers are beginning to shy away from the high cost of Air Frieght, and opting to use Ground to save a few bucks...

Maybe its because Ftd's and 800flowers dropship programs , just ain't what they thought they would be. Pity.

Hmmm isn't AirBus a French based company? Or I'm thinking of a different company.

There is an excellent article about UPS in the latest Baseline magazine, they are adding "another" tag to improve the flow of orders, which supposely reduces sort costs, reduces fuel costs etc.

We Ship our own gourmet baskets and try to use the post office, it's cheaper and usually gets there in a couple days depending on where it's going. UPS has really jumped in price like everything else, BUT over night or next day they do a great job and you pay for that service!
