He was rather quiet and unassuming really...didn't speak at all as a matter of fact...just stood there looking at me and dropped his wares on the floor. I told him thank you but I already had more walnuts than I could handle...he blinked, even nodded I think, flipped his tail, picked up his nuts and left. :GP

Busy enough, but when someone/thing enters the building you do pay attention. Black squirrel startled me...and I him I'm sure. :)

Ummm...George,

we are NOT "nuts"....we have had, not in this order, in our shop the following, squirrels hiding winter nuts in our front window displays, chipmunks hiding in our rear delivery room sheltering from the weather, bunnies running in and out our front doors, when "open" during nice weather, chickadees and a blue jay, assorted spiders, and flying ants, dogs, cats, a parrot, and destructive little "brats" called "children" whose parents seem to think that our shop is THEIR playground
Mike:eek:

Oooo and lest I forget...a snake. Oh my gosh, that just about did me in. I don't care how many legs a creature has...just as long as it has one!

Frogs, lizards, spiders etc...no problem...but the ssssssssssnake....*lifting my feet off the floor*...

It's so different in a metro area

Hmmm... not sure if your visitors are better or worse than ours.

So far this year we've had numerous ant parades, a few possums, rats (both the two-legged and four-legged varieties) a bunny, several birds, several black widow spiders, a few strippers for the 'club' down the street, the governor of our state and numerous 'less than sober' men (mostly pointing at the big arrangement in the 'How Mad Is She' SAF poster.)
