Vancouver, British Columbia Wholesalers

I'm coming out to take care of my neice's wedding in a few months, and it would be great if I could source the flowers through a Vancouver wholesaler, rather than having everything shipped from Montreal of Toronto.
Can any of you tell me who you use in BC, and who you feel is the best?

Try Mex Y Can in Vancouver...they have a Mississauga depot as well which you may already be using.

Sorry my wholesalers are on the island but I would suggest you look at the United Flower Growers website. They list growers and wholesalers. From what I understand you don't have to actually go to the auction to get flowers because they can be ordered online and then picked up at the wharehouse.I'm sure they could direct you to some local wholesalers too if you get in touch with them.As far as flowers go I would love to live in Vancouver so I could go and get my own flowers at UFG instead of depending on wholesalers here but the ferry costs are so high it isn't worth the time and money to go there. However, I used to live in Vancouver and couldn't stand it there and our way of living here is so much nicer.
