I noticed that in the new Caffeine results from Google, the VEC directory has made the first page again after disappearing from the results for a while.

Do you have any experience with this directory? The directory is dated, and i have emailed them about shops that are closed, and asked for a discount to sign up for a link.

It's a little expensive to get a link, but I would think a great local citation, and decent pagerank addition.
 
Ya, I saw VEC in the Toronto results last week, too.

If they count as a local citation, I haven't seen it. I'm not even up on their current pricing. What are they asking?
