Thanks for checking on us guys down here. Actually they make it out worst on the TV than it actually is....which is a good thing.....we have had so much rain in July/Aug that 4"-8" would be even worst than a normal 4"-8". If nothing else, this tropical storm has gotten me off my butt on getting my hurricane protection/supplies checked out and ready. Hopefully this will be a light year for Florida, the East Coast, and the Gulf of Mexico states.

Hurricane Dean and it is slowly churning just south east of the lesser Antillies right now. Has a very large projected area and hopefully a high pressure system will knock it down to the Yucatan area instead of TX.

The Victoria Police/Fire department just got handed a memo; a mandatory call to stay in town from next Wed to Friday when they are predicting Hurricane Daniel (I believe it is the name) to hit anywhere from Texas to Mexico as a projected Cat 4.

I hope it hits Mexico...

We were on the dirty side of your tropical storm today...please don't do it to us again next week!

.

For Houston actually TV makes it better than it actually is...

I have had about 6 inches in the last hour...it's beginning to let up which is good... because my street is flooded.

.

Don't you still have that yellow rubber ducky float that Jonathon and I bought you in Dallas....the one that matches your polka dot string bikini!????
Don't tell me you lost it,....

Y'know some wacky people actually live where they happen every dang year!

Thanks for the order....I always enjoy when FlowerChatters tell my sales staff they are FC members and tell me hi....I think that is cool. Anyway, I just sent Sher a PM....trying to find out how big is her big #ss generator, I need to check it out for myself by next week.

Listen guys & gals.....

we worry about you...1 inch or 30 inches, makes no matter!!
Seems that you have been " targets" for much too long, and EVERY TIME we hear of a new "brewing" heading up to the panhandle coast, it sends shivers up our spines!!

It's Dean... and it's looking to be a CAT4 by Sunday night...not a good sign...

Time to get ready Clay....

And you folks down there think us folks that deal with snow are silly ;)

God speed to you all!
