He, who walks on Water.......
The last time I read about a saviour who also walked on water and while asking us to CHANGE, was over 2,000 years ago.
What does either one of them really mean when they use the word CHANGE?
CHANGE from WHAT to WHAT, I have to ask myself.
They are both far left wing liberals and socialists, who want MORE and BIGGER GOVERNMENT while using the CRADLE TO GRAVE models in order to increase their own power base.
I suspect that, Obama will get the nomination due to the WAVE OF CHANGE, despite the reality that, those who buy into CHANGE, have no idea of what CHANGE means and based on THE DETAILS he never gives.
And, as they always say; " THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS! "
For the past seven years, and since September 11, 2001, the USA has been TERRORIST ATTACK FREE. This is the direct result of the efforts which, President George W Bush has put into the priorities of protecting the citizens of this nation, which is every President's first obligation. And yet, those on the far left continue to vilify this man for doing HIS JOB 1.
Neither one of the two Democratic Candidates would ever be able to meet that task, and based on their own demonstrated positions.
Part of their CHANGE would include the DEFEAT of the USA in IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN by withdrawing our troops, while allowing that entire region to become the prized possession of the Islamic Extremists who intend to rule the world with their sick interpretation of the Koran.
And YES, it is ALL ABOUT OIL, to include the FREE FLOW OF IT, to all on this planet who depend upon it to survive. Should these extremists get control of the Middle East, they will have all the money in the world to spread their word and force those non believers to either accept Allah, or get beheaded.
Since history repeats itself, they did the same thing with our war in Vietnam.
While our troops WON EVERY BATTLE we fought, to include TET, the far left, and using Walter Cronkite on the nitely news with his daily body bag count, convinced the American People that, WE WERE LOOSING THAT WAR, when in fact, WE WERE WINNING IT!
Same thing is happening today and even though the troop insurgence is working and the Alqada is LOOSING, we the people would never know it.
Facts are that, City of Detroit has more murders per year than our Troops have suffered from, in the war in Iraq.
The best that, any of the far left can say is: " I VOTED NO ON THE WAR, but that was after I VOTED YES TO THE WAR!
Talk about DOUBLE SPEAK while trying to have it BOTH WAYS! DEFEND MEE?
I might as well go out and buy my prayer cloth and berka now and try to beat the rush if either one of these two, get into our White House.
Our troops DO NOT CUT AND RUN! Only these POLITICAL HACKS, whose only goal is to preserve THEIR POLITICAL FUTURES, cause the rest of the world to view US as a POTENTIALLY UNRELIABLE ALLY when push comes to shove. This is based on the HACKS which have NO STOMACH to WIN AT ANYTHING other than their own greedy aspirations for POWER and MONEY at the expense of WE, THE PEOPLE.

Toto - I think a presidunce's first obligation would be to keep the nation out of war, especially unnecessary ones. And I believe it was John Kennedy who said that.

If you remember JB, it was JFK who got us into the war with North Vietnam to stop the spread of Communism in the east.
However, it was a SELECTIVE TARGETING WAR continued by LBJ in which, our troops were not allowed to go above the DMZ or into Cambodia where the NVA and VC were able to regroup and resupply. And our B52s were not allowed to bomb the Russian Supply Ships in Haiphong harbor. Also, they were NOT ALLOWED to Bomb strategic targets in the capital city of Hanoi.
Those MILITARY MISTAKES made by JFK and LBJ, (both Democratcs) caused that war for the US to proliferate endlessly from when we first entered into Vietnam in 1961 until 1973 when we were finally forced to pull out. Even Nixon, and after reviewing the results, suggested that, the WAR had been fought in a TIMID MANNER when it could've all been over in just a few years.
Since Obama entered the US Senate in 2004 after having served as a State Senator from Illinois from 1997 to 2004, he couldn't even VOTE on the WAR either way. In fact, and like BILLARY, neither one of them have any real track record of experience as it would be required of a President. Other than the fact that, OBAMA appears to be able to WALK ON WATER and he GIVES GREAT SPEECH, his voting recrid in the US SENATE speaks for itself.
According to the Washington Post, Obama missed 188 votes or was absent (-39.6%) from the Senate, so even if they had a vote on going to war in Iraq during his tenure, he might've decided to STAY AT HOME in order to avoid it.
As to who and why JFK was shot, the jury is still out on that issue. Some have suggested that, it was a MOB HIT since his brother Bobby, the Attorney General, decided to go after them, but only after he WENT ALONG WITH THEM and before his brother got elected to the Presidency. Bobby was a regular back in the olden days of Vegas, and when it was run by the mob, and hung out with the RAT PACK.
Anyway, continue to enjoy the past seven years of TERRORIST FREE ATTACKS courtesy of George W Bush, and even though you're just a Democrat. George is the PRESIDENT of ALL THE PEOPLE.
Of course, and unless the Democrats in Washington vote to continue the terrorist surveillance bill, Osama could continue to make his cell phone calls from the top of his cave in Afghanistan, while coordinating the Al-Qaeda Terrorist cell attacks in any big US city he chooses to.
Can any of us believe that the likes of Harry Reid, Ed Kennedy, and Nancy Pelosi, and the ACLU, would vote to try and give legal rights under OUR CONSTITUTION to the Terrorist Suspects held at GITMO while suggesting that, they qualify for POW rights and under the Geneva Convention, which they do not!
Of course, these are same people that continue to try and give more rights to ILLEGAL ALIENS who have also INVADED OUR COUNTRY and cost we taxpayers BILLIONS of dollars each year, in social services include FREE HEALTH CARE, EDUCATION (of their anchor babies), FOOD STAMPS (now a debit card), WIC, Section 8 rent subsidies, social security disabilty benefits, and social security retirement benefits, as well as MEDICARE and MEDICAID.
They even afford the new legal green card immigrants with the opportunity to reunify their family members to the states. That means that, their aged parents can come here too, jump on our social security or qualify for social security disabilty benefits or enter a nursing home at the costs of $17,000.00 per month, all paid for by MEDICARE and MEDICAID since, they are POOR and have no money and become a ward of WEE TAXPAYERS, who are being made POORER with their scams.
These days, it seems to be a much better deal when you are on the wrong side of our laws, pay no taxes, and reap all the benefits.
Personally, I would still like to know what that $.79 head of lettuce really costs us when their TRUE COST TO TAXPAYERS are added in. So much for CHEAP LABOR, ey?
