I really dislike green wire easels and those ugly white easels, so a while back I made my own.

its an easel made of Walnut, I added a couple of wooden dowels (small pins) to hold Oasis forms such as those solid hearts. It works very well for that purpose.

I like that Joe.

Nice job...

I use the wooden ones myself, (I assume they are the unpainted white ones..)

I hate wire easels too.

Nicley done.

No...more...wire...easels! (Or coathangers)

Might start making them myself.......Lord knows I got to do something with the leftover lumber not used for the house remodel

That is beautiful, Joe. I bet it does not bend and wiggle like the wire easels do.

It is rock solid and it works great for those heavy Oasis Hearts

Beautiful! Is it used as a rental or loaner? If so, how do you prevent it from getting carted off the the cemetery and left there?

Loaner, and the Funeral Directors know it is mine.

Around here all the Funeral homes, remove the flowers from the easels. The flowers go to the cemetery and the easels remain at the funeral home, so many of the wired ones and white ones get re-used.

and thank you all for the compliments

Beautiful! I have 2 brother in laws who build things and one of them has built me stuff. I might have to ask him to do something similar.

Hey, on a cheaper note, I wonder if I could buy some of the ugly white ones and stain them! May have to try it.

I really wished we used those over here, i think they make the flowers more of a statement.

That is gorgeous Joe, you can see it has been really well made..

You can't stain over paint, but you can definitely re-paint them.

Another part I do not like about white easels is the tear-out on some of the wood.

Thanks Joe from a fella wood worker.

We have been selling escort card boards lately and I use one of my painters easels which even though is expensive it's still a painters easel and I end up trying to mask it with garlands. I've been looking around for something like this. It's perfect. Thanks.

Quite handsome, Joe! You never cease to amaze and inspire.

Great looking easel Joe, nice job.

Saw a pic of an easel somewhere and they took one of the wire ones, split the dried river cane and opened it enough to go over the wires, was very nice look, haven't tried it yet, I should tho, was very cool.
