On Tuesday past was told Merc direct cd was sent, great get rid of the old 2000 , last night , just before I closed at 8 , smoke started to billow out of it, got it shut off before it caught fire, no damage done only the smell. Called FTd to let them know , no longer have functioning system, even though they have already shipped the merc direct cd, they are still sending another merc 2000 console, which we are to refuse if the cd arrives first. Tried to tell the guy not to bother ,one or two days with them calling any orders in is a lot cheaper than shipping a system all the way here. Just seems like a big waste of someones money to me.

That's one reason why they lose money over there, for not thinking with a little common sense. Many companies that size (not only wire services) operate like that, and lose millions of dollars, of course you know this already.

Technology wise, speaking as an installer, tis better to have too much, rather than not enough !
Not picking on you Sunny, but lotsa folks scream when they don;t get what they want, and yesterday, at least in this case, you'll be covered either way...
