Just a word of advice for anyone that has a Yahoo pay per click account... I found out the hard way this week that your Yahoo account reps are permitted to go into your account and add campaigns and keywords that they feel will optimize your account - and they don't even have to ask your permission! I found a whole new campaign in my account, for keywords I NEVER would have bid on. That was costing me money. When I called Yahoo to complain, they acted like this was some "special service" they were offering to "help" me. Man, can you imagine if I just randomly sent my customer merchandise and then billed them for it and told them I was "helping" them?

Of course I got a refund. But I am just telling you all to watch your accounts carefully,

I'd bet none of the Big3 have anyone messing with their campaigns...

Wonder if we can bribe someone to do so ;)

They probably don't, because they have professional agencies managing their accounts.

Yahoo! made this change to benefit (in their eyes) smaller advertisers who weren't optimizing their accounts, and therefore leaving opportunities (and ad $) on the table.

As agencies, we notify Yahoo! to opt our clients out of the automatic process, since we're actively managing the campaign.

Isn't this like Reverse Billing, which is illegal in Canada? (I think it is anyway).
