In the spirit of things...We have a lovely cool rain falling, from a steel grey sky. Although the temperatures are falling, the rain adds a chilling ambience, welcome to those who revel in a damp, bracing enviroment. If the startingly cold drops of rain are not enough to arouse you, there is always the gusts of icy wind, guaranteed to shake off any afternoon sleepiness.

The leftover remnants of this weekend's salt and cinders will lend a delicate white haze to any black or brown shoes that you are wearing, and cast the same pale shade in an intricate pattern of water spots up the back of your pantleg as you tiptoe through the puddles.

We are so jealous!!! My husband is praying for snow!!! We haven't had more than a dusting since '93. North Alabama weather seems more like Florida weather in the last few years. He says this will be the year, but he's said that every year Enjoy your snow!!!

It's COLD and RAINY here. If it's going to be cold and precipitate...the LEAST it could do is SNOW! I LOVE snow!!!! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!

We haven't had that much snow since December '89...

I think Houston has had snow 4 times during my lifetime (remember, I'm older than dirt)

It was almost 80 degrees here today...was going to rain, but never showed up

Last week our City had some very damaging electrial storms - bit scarey at times I must say.. anyway it is now VERY humid.

I can only imagine what a Cold Christmas would be like? So.. Yes, I'm real Jealous.!
