I am not sure exactly what you are saying. What does having been FTD have to do with this web site you are linking to? They are a FTD florist who is simply linking their url to their FTD FOL site. MANY FTD florists link one or more url's to their FTD site.

"moving into my local market on the www" - Local market and www kinda contradict each other. There is no "local market" on the world wide web because it is just that...world wide. When you start thinking of the www as something local is when you lose site of what the Internet really is.
