My brother and his partner united in marriage today. It was a lovely ceremony and their commitment to each other is rich.

I'm happy on many levels... I'm glad we live here.

I am assuming that this was a civil partnership? We have had these for many years now, my aunty got married to her partner 2 weeks ago..

And Canada is on my "one of the places i must visit" list.

Massachusetts is in the 21st century, and contrary to the predictions of the right wing, the institution of marriage did not fall apart when it became legal for gays to marry. PLUS now we have more people to sell wedding flowers to!
