Friday and Saturday, we were on the University of Illinois Campus. The College Agriculture, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (ACES) held an open house.
Michael's major is Landscape Design, which is part of horticulture. During our visit we spoke with his department head who is already dangling the Jr year Study abroad program carrot in front of him. For him that would mean Holland/The Netherlands.
Also during the visit, the students from the different curricula gave presentations and of course the Hort students had a theme, Welcome to the Jungle with Guns and Roses song blasting away.
One student designer had a gorilla design assistant while another student dressed up like a Flintstone. See her pic below. The "Flintstone" designer is a Freshmen. As you can see she is designing some big stuff.
