Well I felt like a little kid yesterday....

When I went to the doctors and my wife was with me. I been having problem with a leg since dec. I been waiting to see if it went away, but it wasnt so I made a appointment to see my doctor. I did'nt ge tto see my own but another one that was covering for him. Well gentleman DO NOT LET YOUR WIFE IN WITH YOU. SHe will do all the talking, tell him more than is necessary and I actually felt I was a kid and mommy was doing the talking for me. aside from going to see a neurologist for my leg which is ok for now, she is scare I am going to kill over tomorrow.
She talked about my diabetes, the pills and the food I am eating.
Now I have to go to a diabetic cllinic. I know the dangers of what can happen etc. When I left there I could have Bop her one....
I do not retrisct her diet or say anything about what she eats when she is on her diet.
Making I am taking this the wrong way but I will never let her know when I am going back to see a doctor.

Just remember, Luc - She has a vested interested in your health.
She loves you! As do we all. You just have to interpret her behaviour as concern for your well-being.

I'm just the opposite Luc. I hate going to the doctor and I hate talking to them even more. I bring my wife with me so that she can do all the talking.
Piece of cake. After the visit on the ride home she tells me all about what happened and what we are going to do about it. Lol!

Be patient with her, Luc, she loves you and is just showing concern. It's definitely better than the alternative.

Sometimes it's annoying when my mom and Dan jump all over waiters when I order something off the menu (I have chronic allergies) - that's just love talking. You'll get use to it, it shows they care.
