my ONE day off. and its POURING RAIN!

I had suggested to a friend we take her kids and mine and hit the beach today.. but its raining...

It has the LONGEST fresh water beach in the world, and more shoreline than ANY other country

well we do have the great lakes.. i'm an hour from lake ontario or an hour from lake huron.

Send it down our way , we have not had rain forever (and Victoria is almost on the Gulf of Mexico where we always get rain). My mom sent me the front page of the Midland TX paper, head lines said 140 days without a trace of rain.

Clay, I've been watchiing the news about the heat and drought conditions your way. Hope it changes for the better soon.

Our July had trace rainfall as well, but August is proving to be a bit more moderate in heat, humidity and rain.

It's dry in San Antonio too. The last good rain we got was well over a week and a half ago.

We needed the rain today but I would have rather it rained at night so we could go to the beach!!! Oh well I got my baking done! The kids are happy. Told me i'm the best mom ever!

it was cold rain! and coming down really hard! it was bouncing off the deck when it hit. my dogs refused to go out in it!
