Were did the yellow go?

Has anyone had any luck propagating plumerias from a seedpod…

I had very unusal and interesting colors blooming this year. These were plants from seedpods summer of 2003, but the colors were not true to the parent plant. The parent plant was yellow, but some seedlings were kinda white and some were kinda red (no yellow seedlings)…How do you get yellow seedlings from seedpods?

If your original plant was a hybrid, that could be the source of your problem. In order to get the yellow that you desired, you probably would have to propagate from a stem cutting.
