A bride mailed me this pic asking for a quote.

What do you see? (besides everything and the kitchen sink )

Birds of paradise, roses, mokara orchids, dendrobiums, ginger, oncidium orchids, and looks to be white tulips.

That's all I can see at first glance.

Wow what a smorgasbord....

I cannot imagine trying to get a red ginger and all the other stuff into a holder, or do a hand tied out of them...not very pretty, I am not crazy about designs like that I call them chop suey!!!

The bride probably just likes the tropical colours...I am sure you can convince her to stick to 3 or 4 types of flowers in those tones to achieve more impact. We prefer not to use white in with any bright colours like that as it takes away from it. White is too dominant!

I agree, the white really ruins those bouquets!

but she loves the white and especially the white tied handles.

I too, looked at these and said NIGHTMARE - how do you get all the insertions in a holder and still have foam! They certainly aren't handtied.

I meet with MOM on Thursday (the bride is out of state) and will suggest some alternatives.

I would be tempted to tell the bride, you will be glad to make these exactly like the photos or you can make them pretty.

I am just not impressed with those bouquets.
