How can I honor the original owner & what is a scarf spray?

The florist that started my flower shop (I purchased it a couple of years ago) just passed away. He was very well known and active in the community. How can I honor him at my shop (it still has his name)? You have to love this guy, he put "flowers only" at the end of his obit.
Thanks in advance for your help.

A commemorative plaque with a photo (preferably one showing him making a floral arran) surrounded by a floral treatment and maybe a candle would be nice. I'm sure the family would gladly give you a photo & appreciate the lasting tribute. How wonderful of you to want to show your regard for the man who built the business. I'm sure no matter how you choose to celebrate his life, it will be well received.

Stacey,
That is a great idea - thanks. I also need help with his floral request. He requested a scarf spray. Is it similar to a blanket spray only smaller.

Heather posted a great pic of a casket scarf. The spray drapes over a portion of the casket and often includes a runner made of fabric, ribbon or foliage.

One of our old John Henry floral tributes books showed a beautiful pic of a casket scarf. The fabric over the casket was a beautiful silk brocade and the flowers consisted of cateleya orchids, beautiful greenery and sea shells tied to cording. It was simply stunning! Wish I had a pic for you!

Thanks to you all for your help. I'll have to look at my John Henry books too.
Thanks again.
