What is your opinion on the following?

I was thinking when I was reading a obitiaries in the paper that if we have to use the service of a funeral home that we should mention where the flowers are coming from.

"Flowers are entrusted to Alpine Flowers & Gifts"

Just like what the funeral home uses when they get the service.

What do you think?

If we could get the entire funeral, all of the pieces, this item would be nice for us. However, we are not any of the FH's florist of choice as a rule, so this notation in the obituary would likely harm the business that we are working so hard to acquire. We are not the FH's florist of choice because of tradition, kickbacks, and one florist even has a written contract with a local funeral home.

Occasionally a family spreads the word that Powdersville Wren Florist is handling the flowers for a relative's funeral, and we love that! Maybe that was what you meant, Luc, but I'd still not be happy if another florist's name was published in the paper, thereby cutting off some orders which we might have received.
