This is a neat little vid showing the use of green/blue screen technology in popular film & tv productions.

(10 points to the first person who can tell me what soundtrack that music is from!!)

It's also a great chance to show off the new "video" button on our post editor. It's the
video.png
button, and lets you embed video from different sources.

It's not lord of the rings music.

the clip is from Stargate studios.

the music is: Arise (Theme to the AFC Championship On CBS) - Single
E.S. Posthumus available on Itunes. very nice.

also scored the theme to Cold Case and other NFL projects.

Blue/green screen is kind of the end of the true on location film era. I keep reading that Avatar is the "new way" movies will be made. Actors just stand in front of a screen and the rest will be filled in.

Ah, Cold Case ... that sounds right. I stopped watching it a few years ago, but it seems to fit with the music. I haven't watched the AFC on CBS, so I didn't recognize it from there.

I shared this video clip with a couple friend and one commented: If this is what they can do with TV, movie entertainment, who will be the first to use it for broadcasting the "news"

Ahhhh the computer age. Love it!
Don't know why everyone isn't in to building sites, etc, it's fun. Of course nothing like blue/green screen technology.

By the way thanks Ryan for all you do, I really like the new forum design.
