My 16-year-old son was on a website that supposedly tells you about different jobs and what to expect. I looked up floral design and I thought this was quite funny.

Florists work in flower shops and the flower departments of grocery and department stores. They may work either full-time or part-time. Many florists run their own flower shops.

The working environment for florists is usually comfortable and well-lit. There is some standing and lifting, though it is generally fairly light work. Florists also use their hands constantly while on the job.

Florists typically work regular business hours, about 9 to 10 hours a day. Evening and weekend work is often required to accommodate customers. Long hours may be necessary on occasion in order to complete arrangements on time, especially during holidays and special occasions.

Some standing and lifting, but it is fairly light?
Long hours may be necessary on OCCASION?

After a yearly check up, my Dr. told me I should quit lifting anything over 5-7 lbs. I looked at her like she'd grown a third ear. She wanted to know what could be so hard about working in a flower shop! IN other words how much could one rose actually weigh. R
