Whats a purple dot lol

I have received a purple dot from someone, i totally dig the colour purple but i just wondered what it was. I have a sneaky feeling they wanted it to be red??

Can someone pls shed some light on this pls, oh and it was unsigned so i am assuming they hit the disapprove button lol

I think it is a dot from someone who has not been approved. I have gotten several of those in the past.

if you right click on it and select "save as" it gives you the file name, I had to do that on mine as I couldn't figure out what all the colours where. HTH.

How can that be? I thought if you have not been approved you were not given access to our everyday threads.

I know that there is a blue dot that shows up, when someone who has been approved but who has no rep power yet tries to give a green dot. Maybe that's what it is and it looks purple on your monitor.

I have quite a few attempted red dots that turned a lovely blue colour, mmmm nice... Now thats not gang mentality is it??

I too think it's a dot from someone (positive) who's reputation numbers aren't quite high enough to define colour.
