Where is everyone?

I hope it's a sign of good times~ normally I ck Flower Chat a couple times a day to find I have about 300 post to read. Latly I come on and only see about 40 post or less. This means everyone is busy in their shops or are they not posting???
 
Hopefully it's because people are busy, but it's more likely a direct result of the kaffufel a few weeks ago over rules of being a member.

Thanks for that info. I was wondering if it was due to all that member stuff and the hassle that's was going on when a member got put on probation?? maybe this to shall pass..:spintongu
 
I do think it has a lot to do with being busier.....summer is usually slower for the daily stuff and it starts picking up when school starts.. that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Definately busier here...doing shop overhauls for busy season, rearangeing displays, pulling out old xmas containers trying to come up with xmas arr ideas....just trying to put more energy into making my shop a better place, thanks to Bloomz I now have more time, just kidding, well kind of...
 
Maybe alot of people have reevaluated their priorities and find they have other things that need to be done. People have also complained about posts and threads that are insignificant, that may be affecting things as well. I'm enjoying fewer arguments over cookie cutters.

I think it's mostly because it's busier. Shannon posted a thread about being super busy and asked if it was just her. It's not! :>
 
I'm posting less because we too are busier and to be honest I have to focus on what pays the bills!!! That said I log in every day - sometimes twice - and wouldn't dream of not doing so. As for the kerfuffle ... hasn't spoilt my feelings for FC one iota and in some ways enjoying it more as I don't feel there's going to be argy bargies all the time.

I too have been extremely busy at work and doing some late nights so it generally means that when i get in i am spending time with kids and hubby etc... and then collapsing in a heap.

But, that said, biggie weddings are done now and it is going quieter on the wedding front so I am hoping that we can all come up with some really good marketing ideas for Christmas. I still love FC :thumbsup

I also think that there are less argumentative threads which means less posts. This could be wire, cookie cutter vs design, general debate. There are also less off topic threads so maybe this has contributed overall (not that i minded those).

Anyway, maybe we could come up some really good christmas designs to market, by way of a competition???

My Daughter (Business Partner) and I have noticed that it is busier lately, hopefully it"s a good sign about the economy. We need a few good weeks in a row.
 
Yes, we have been busy, with decorating jobs for the fall and had several wedding appointments. It sure has picked up since the housing market is making a come back. Also working on new post cards for advertising. Love that vista print.com
I spent hours on the computer trying to make changes to my last card and design a matching business card. I finally just called them for help. Great customer service!
They had my card done in less than 3 minutes at no charge.

I too love the word kafuffel, I intend to use this at least once today ;)

I will let V explain what it means as i would probably take about 1000 words.
