Wonder who will want to pick up poor Cujo now that Hasek wants back , even Iletch can't afford 2 $8 million a year goalies, also wonder if Cujo insisted on a no trade clause, could be interesting to see how the wings wheel and deal all the older guys (Hull , Robitaille, etc) , thats if anyone wants them.

Should be interesting... Perhaps New York Rangers? They don't mind spending big bucks. They could at least make it into round #1 with Curtis. Getting out of round #1 is another story. haha!

If you saw TSN's sports desk , Detroit has until July 1 to sign Hasek to the option on his retired contract , if not July 2 he will be a unrestricted free agent, some one in hockey town has a major decision to make real quick. According to an inside source Hasek is all set to sign with Colorado if the Wings don't put up the money. And through it all poor Cujo sits on the sideline wondering why its happening to him. He must get the message by now that he's second rate, or its about time someone enlightened him.

Sorry Peter forgot , not enough money out there for the heart transplants to make the Rangers competitive again. Messier should have retired long ago, Lindros is an overpaid pussy, actually the list is too long , but a complete overhaul is needed. They should trade anyone of any value (limited) and trade for the draft picks and rebuild with youth , at least the younger guys aren't jaded and will at least put some effort out. They are just too old , overpaid and for the most part just don't give a ****.

Iletch? not Ilitch?

Sunny, Mike was VERY EMBARRASSED this year, he said and I quote " he wore a cap so he could hide his face while out shopping for simple things as groceries..Food or whatever.

I don't need to add any (icons) to this message so with that, Mike will pull what ever strings he needs to do and those FANS who LOVE DA WINGS will continue to FUND THAT TEAM regardless of a SALARY CAP.

$8 buck a :beer opps! Detroit Hockey Town in my opinion will never let it go down like it did in the 60's 70's and 80's..we went thru the MUCK as they call it in my neighborhood and today were seeing a Hockey Team doing what it takes to make REVENUE?

I really do not care where COJO goes or if Federov leaves because the BABY wants MO MONEY than he is worth. What did he do last season? oh Buy two Ferrari's and crash one last week.

When the FANS FUND the TEAM all is WELL! I think? heck I watch those games on TV ;)

Well , Blue according to Bob McKenzie, Detroit will pick up Hasek's option and Cujo will waive his no-trade clause , only sticking problem is no one wants his price tag, only takers may be the Rangers , but the Wings will have to give up someone of value to have the Rangers to this favour for them. Sticky problem, might be cheaper for the Wings to buy his contract out .

apparantly Colorado have already spoken to Hasek but have no interest in Cujo, seems the big winner in the goalie free agency sweepstakes this year is Sean Burke who is being courted by Philly, Colorado, and the Rangers.

Last time I was at the Joe, I believe bottled water was $5.00, this was a couple of years ago.

demoted

Poor Cujo , got waived , will report to the minors, still get paid his big salary and wait for the stretch drive for some desparate team to pick him up. Funny thing though the best goalie in Detroit this year is Manny Legace who is now playing the bulk of the games these days. Wonder what the mind set is in management these days with almost 20 mil in salaries for goaltenders , one in the minors and one riding the pine.

Hey sunny....

Boy how times have changed for Cujo.

I have more respect for him and he is sure doing a darn good job in the net for MY WINGS!.
Todays report say's he will remain with the Wings all season and the lame duck is turning out to be Hasek.

Most of today's big ego players would just for spite sit out and force a trade , he stuck his chest and is proudly playing . Watched him the other night playing Boston , didn't seem like anyone on the Wings was in that one. PS where would the Wings be right now if they had managed to trade him last summer?
