Went to work early this am, had to a lot of orders for 2 funerals for noon visitation. Pete(hubby) comes over at 9:00am ,says Mums on the phone and she is hurt and wants you . OK. So i said to girls i'm outta here be back when i can.Race like hell to her place as from past experiences when she calls it means trouble. Get there and let myself in go to find her in bedroom trying to get nightie off, ok, Mum what is wrong,I fell off the back porch, she is doubled over in pain, leave the nightie alone and where is housecoat, call the hospital tell them i am bringing her in and meet me at front door,OK now gotta figure out way to get her outside as MUM(she is very english you know) wont let me call ambulance, OK off we go , dammit i haven't got my teeth in she says , dont worry we aren't going to a fashion show. So they meet me get her out, i go park and go in. do the paper work and off to xray we go. Well Doc gets there she has broken her wrist and couple of ribs. Great! On goes the cast and we put a mid belt on her ribs to ease some of the pain for a bit. OK Mum i am gonna take you to our place. NO i want to go home ,(of course you do why make it easier on me). OK get her into her bed settled in and b.b.i.a.b. i tell her. Run persciption up back at noon to get it, Back to work ok done there get scripts and run back , She is awake now pain is intense so get more meds and tea and toast plus her normal heart and blood pressure pills, home by 2 pm bite to eat, check shop do more funeral work and now i am done and on my way back to Mum, Thank god im off 2 days now, as u all will know where i will be ...
