Sometimes when life is so busy around us, i stand back and listen to the whispers of life. I love to hear the wind speaking amist the trees provoking earthly smells of pine and wood. The wonderment of stars travelling the sky projecting the light of darkness around them shifting images like a kaleidoscope. Flowers dispensing their fragrance into the air arousing smells that pleasures and it soothes my soul. Birds singing about in the early hours giving life to a new day, invigorating my spirit with boundless energy to get my day started. A stream trickling down an embarkment meeting up to a river clashing together upon the rocks with a powerful force. In the fall, the colorful imagery of the trees shouting to the world to take notice before they leave on their departure of hibernation for the winter. Every little creature busying about their day collecting food, protecting their sanctuary and projecting themselves into our lives as god intended it to be a sign that he is among us every day. The amazing and spectacular show of lightning illuminating the sky and the pounding of thunder breaking our tranquility and silence as we lay in bed late at night. When the energy of the world is overwhelming at time, a stroll through the woods has its calming and peaceful effects on any soul, drainning your mind of any worries or problems that was casting a shadow upon you. I thank god for his whispers to let me know to have faith, that i am not alone, that life shifts and changes but changes bring about new things and new beauty within all of us, to be patient and to stand still within myself and really listen to the whispers of life.

This was sent to me from my sister. I guess we need to read this once in a while.

"...stand still within myself and really listen to the whispers of life."

I love that line. Thanks for sharing, Luc.
