Who should I ask to write me an AIFD letter for Kansas city?

Who should I ask to write a letter for me for Kansas city AIFD symposium?

So I think I will listen to advice and try to go to symposium before I do AES.

So now I want to try and get a scholarship to help pay to go, otherwise I can't go.

So who should I ask?

And how do I go about submitting the letter? etc, etc.

I feel so clueless.

well, I can appreciate who has been awarded in the past, but I looked at both of those links and neither one explained what to do or how to do it.

Or maybe I just missed it.

It's not a big secret.
There are two ways to got a scholarship
Throught our South Central Region - which is a scholarship for registration only. I think that they are giving one scholarship this year.
I sit on this board.
The other way is the Jim Treadaway scholarship, given by the Foundation.The Treadaway Scholarshp covers registration and room and traveling expenses.
If it doesn't explain how to apply at www.aifd.org, then call Headquarters in Baltimore to get details. Both require applications and letters of recomendations form AIFD members.

Right on the page that lisa posted there is a copy of the scholarship info from last year. I'm assuming that the procedure is the same but, you may want to call headquarters for an up to date copy of the application.

It's in PDF format so I'm sure they can email it to you.

PS- Might want to talk to Babylon Floral Design. He's one pictured as being awarded in the past.
