why is it taking so long to see my own posts and threads?

I have not yet experienced any problem.........as far as delays in my posts appearing.

ditto. Waiting on page to continue loading ...

btw, cool addition the TV & Radio channel - fun stuff. I think it's a conspiracy to keep us here alllllll day.....

I started a thread last night that never has showed up.

It's about a car. I'm gonna start a new one and see what happens.

Ok, people, this is old news ... your threads don't appear to you in the New Posts search until someone else posts. The New Posts list is threads that have posts you haven't read.

If you create a post or thread, it's marked as read for you - because you wrote it and viewed it.

If you're not sure about whether your post went through, check the forum in which you posted.

sorry, I was referring to how long it takes the page to load when I click into a recently updated thread, not seeing "my" posts. It seems to take longer than ususal, a hesitation for ............. 20-30 seconds, then the newest post shows. No scrolling or clicking will allow the page to move till that time period is up.

99 - check the top right corner, where it says "welcome floraldesignson99th". Click on "____Unread Posts Since your Last Visit". Same as new posts. :)

Sorry, Tracy - misunderstood.

It's possible that you were experiencing a bit of an internet bottleneck in your area, or somewhere along the way between your location and our server.

If the problem is persistent, please let me know.

I was too... until I rebooted my PC, Router and Modem...

Seems to have cleared up a bunch of annoying little things I was seeing the last couple days...

Alls well here now....

Ryan's going to reboot the server later tonight, so I would suggest now as a good time to reboot all your toys too, I think you'll see a noticeable difference...

...

....much better today it seems, so far.
No screen hesitations or momentarily screen lock-ups.
Do you guys cut your systems off every night
(which is a reboot) or just let them stay on until
trouble hits?

I keep ours on until trouble hits, forcing a reboot.
My modems & routers stay on all the time,
until trouble hits. Not very proactive huh?:idear:

Just wondering.

well, spoke too soon. I knew that was gonna happen.
Never had this hesitation before when I move from screen to screen.
Maybe it is my stuff...oh well. Let me get to work on that.

I'm, pretty sure the issue is on your end... nothing noticeable here, there or anywhere...

And you're right, "not very proactive" on your part... a weekly reboot will help insure you don't have any problems. It's a good idea to reboot your pc, modem, routers and any switches on a regular schedule....

I was having issues at home yesterday afternoon, not just FC... my daughter was quite annoyed at Club Penguin too, kicked off a few times. Much better from home this morning and work today has been fine. Perhaps some widespread issues yesterday with Verizon? We are Comcast at work and that has been working well. Whatever the reason, all is good today.

still having hesitation ... when clicking into the newest post in a thread, it hesitates, then says "done, but with errors." Sometimes this goes away, sometimes the error remains.

Happening on all PC's @ the shop, even those that are rebooted.
