I am sorry, but how can they inlist shops that are not incompetent when their own people are incompetent?

Since I am one of two shops that go to Newark on a Rural County Rd.. I bet they will call me back at least 3 times.. maybe 5 or seven!

Why do they think it's okay to waste our time?

and to top the day off.. I lost my knife! Does your shop eat things? Mine does.. and it really likes MY knife - no one elses... JUST MINE!

A quick tutorial in how to defeat the scissor and knife eating monster that lurks within, He is never seen, but his presence is surely detectable.

1) Take a 1 1/2 foot length of a brightly colored ribbon, be sure to select a ribbon that will not fray, Glue one end to the handle of your knife. You can then find your knife by looking where the ribbon tail is handing out. Monster defeated.

2) Go to the store and purchase brightly colored cable/zip ties - a different color for each of your staff, take the cable/zip ties and attach them to the handles, ends, of your knives, scissors and other tools. Now, You are color coded and everyone should know their own color and return what is not their color. Monster defeated.

Hope this helps you to find that monster and while you will never be rid of him, you can help to negate his presence.

Is the knife eating monster related to the one legged elf that lives in the dryer and takes one sock of each pair?

I got the bright, lime green handled knife at a design show, I think it was, and I can almost always find it, haven't "permanently" lost it yet. Our scissors are another story though, since we have 2 departments and a largish store.

I have a lime stealing elf!! It's ever hard to make the right BloodyMary or Vodka and tonic without it!!

Funny the knives and cutters stay in the slots made for them on the table but...
I can't tell you how many scissors, pens and mini legal pads I have put all over this bldg, only to have to hunt them down when needed.

I put 5 pens and 4 legal pads out 4 days ago and they are missing. It's nutty.
