Widespread power outages in South Florida

Just saw this on the web.....Sher, is your computer working on back-up battery?

That was mostly south and north of us...we had some flickers but not much down time. The media goes crazy because of the Nuke reactors we have at Turkey Point and I understand that they did a shutdown themselves as as a safety precaution. They have yet to tell us why...we will probably not know until we all start glowing in the dark or sprout antlers. Much ado about nothing..but there were some usual storms.....you can always tell when there is not much new news to report...the media seem to love to stir the pot...thanks for asking...just another wonderful day in paradise...our temp is suppose to drop 40 degrees today into the 40's from the 80's yesterday...will have to drag out that old sweater of mine. lol

So much for your flickers, Sher. Our flickers cost us a compressor fan motor,etc, etc. The flowers are fine - we met the serviceman at the shop at 10:30pm - he couldn't replace it then (didn't have one on the truck). Had the cooler door open with the ac set at 50 with fans on.

Just another day in paradise. Maybe FPL will pay my service bill? lollol
