Hello everyone. Cross your fingers for me, please. I'm chairman over crafts in my towns Festival. This is the 28th year for this and my 4th as chair. I have 58 vendors( hope all have handcrafts) as of now, the town workers and husband are marking out the spaces. It is a biggie for this tow. Just got off the air with a station that sets a remote up and airs for us( for a price for sure). We look for 10,000to 13,000 to visit the festival. Pray the rain holds off. Need 4 of me right now. Just got the ok that the town will pay me to add color to the 1800's park we have it in, of all times, I have a plate full already.
But you bet I'll do it and put my shops name out even more!
All so just got the contract and ask to decorate the city hall !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is open to the public for a month. I already did this for free.... now I get paid.... SWEET !!!!!!!!!!!!!

See, Folks? When Ellen (Elmo) was applying for membership here, I told you that she was one of the hardest working florists around. She runs her shop by herself too, except that her husband delivers for her. She has a heart as big as Texas, and she's a great traveling companion...always fun!

All kudos to you, Ellen! You go, Girl!

Thank Heavens for my guy! He took care of park set ups while I had a crazy day at the shop.He and I drove home around 10 tonight,5 am we're at it again. Got to love it to do it tho. Hope all have a great weekend, cross your fingers our weather holds with out rain. Festival runs rain or shine. Don't care to walk around with a wet head... not a pretty site.... nite.

The weather was perfect!!!! Had 80%+ of my craft vendors signing up for next Aug. for their same site. This speaks volumes for my part of the park. I've been working on major improvements for 3 years and now its in force.
I now can hand pick who is invited to attend and not take who ever wants to throw up a tent to sell their goods.My sweet nephew just ran his first 5k that kick starts the festival(only 12 and look how tall.. or am I just that short?)
