Well, as of the first this month, we are done with FTD. Years ago we had Teleflora, FTD, and AFS. Then AFS went away. A few years back, I crunched some numbers and we dropped Teleflora. This past year I crunched again and decided we needed to be done once and for all (oh, and I swore we would never deal with another Mother's Day like last year-wasting our time on phone calls and rejecting orders 3 times because one hand apparently didn't know what the other was doing at FTD).
So, as of May 1st, we're done. Yikes! I'm a little nervous because I'm not sure how much it's going to affect our sales this holiday. A couple of our locations do a lot of incoming on Mother's Day (retirement areas). Of course, we didn't have our website last year. We also have FSN, but I've found they're much more for outgoing than incoming.
I know our bottom line will benefit even if our top line doesn't....just hope my boss can appreciate that in the meantime!
