The 2004 World Series Champions, the Boston Red Sox!!!! Although Colorado is going to give us a run for our money. I love our boys from Boston!

I hope so! But the Sox don't seem to do as well on the road trips out West so we need to take the first two games at Fenway to give us some momentum. Can't wait to see Becket pitch on Wednesday, it'll be a good game.

In my town, everyone is part of Red Sox nation, from grannies to the kids-it crosses all demographics and is a great conversation starter! After the Sox won the World Series in 2004, we were inundated with funeral work for folks who had hung on long enough to see the Sox win. We easily did 20 funeral pieces that encorporated the Red Sox through flags, colors and even one piece in the shape of the emblem. But 2004 was a special year!

Hey Boss, you don't have to watch the games to get your free taco. Taco Bell is giving out free tacos on October 30 from 2-5pm, because Jacoby Ellesbury stole second last night.
I was hoping the Indians would win, but since they are out, the Red Sox should reign once again.

a HUGE relief that I wasn't the ONLY one to "dump" baseball from my sporting event list...and it's great that the series went only 4 games....enough already!!
To "strike" one of America's cherished PAST TIMES...was the ultimate insult to b-ball fans everywhere.
It's a "GAME"...that's IT!!!!!!!!

A large furniture company near Boston had a gimmick in April that if you bought furniture from them during a special week and if the Sox won the world series.. you got your furniture FREE.. 30,000 people took them up on their offer and won.. the company bought an insurance policy to cover them if they had to pay out so... all is good... I would like to know which insurance company tho' since their bottom line will not be good this year.
