It seems like only yesterday when the baby was born. So many proud family members that day.

Thanks to daddy Ryan and all the nannys who have raised this baby to a successful eight year old. You all guided him/her along the road of highs and lows to this day.

Well done and continued success to this ever thriving and growing family. :)

Thanks, V :)

I think we owe many, many thanks to you! Not only were you the 5th person through the doors (counting me!), you've done more over the years with greeting new members than anyone else. Thanks for helping to build and protect our community!

It's a "him".....I too have many accolades for one of our brightest "stars" in ANY Galaxy.....the "Victoria Star".....:)

Well I am glad you started this baby as it has totally changed the way i look at things and i know i have friends to lean on... can be leaned on, have a laugh, cry, share something new... I know people will tell me the truth and not pay lip service which i think is fab for business.

Thanks to the team :)

Hmmm... how time flies...

I still remember Ryan notifying me about the pending launch on Halloween night in 2002. I was the second through the door, and it's been a blast since day one. Things have changed here some, it's fun to go back and read the first few days postings from time to time to "remember when" and think back.

A lot of time has gone into making this site what it is today, we've spilled some blood from time to time, but you'll have that in any family. FlowerChat is what it is because of the members, each and every one of you, you all contribute to the success that FlowerChat is, and for that we thank you!

Looking forward to another great year ahead. Together we can accomplish anything we set our mind to.

Blessings :~

hmm, wasn't much longer when I tripped over the threshold...... Thanks Ryan (and Mark).... It's been a wonderful ride!!

I never really looked at everyone's Join Dates before.
Wow, eight years!
I've only been here a year and a half and I've learned more about the biz from you folks than in my last 10 years of retail.
Many thanks to Ryan, all the admins and all the other members!

And when it comes to be my time to buy the shop, I know that I can make the business work because anything I need to know, I can just check with my FCers first! Thanks to you guys I went from a scared sh*tless kid who really doesn't know anything about running a business to a more confident woman on the threshold of purchasing a shop!
although I'm sure you guys will talk me out of it when the time comes lol

I am not sure how close to the birth I arrived, fall of 2002 I think( I stand corrected it was December) , but I have to say this forum is the reason I am still in this industry. By industry standards I am a newbie, leaving a job as a manager at a major retailer in 1999 and coming into the small business floral world in 2000, not sure if I would stay or not. The information and encouragement I have recieved here, much of it from Ryan himself lends itself to many of my successes in this industry.....and I'm not even a designer! Thanks to all that have helped me along, I could not possibly leave now, too much family here. I got to have lunch with Carol Bice in Dallas, all because of this forum, how cool is that! Hours of volunteer efforts and true human compasion and caring for other people, we have a special place here.

8 years. Wow.

That's a lot of discussion, ideas, rants, tips and newly-found friendships passing through these doors.

Congratulations Ryan and team. As others have said, the information gleaned from FC has truly helped make fundamental differences in the successes of our businesses.

you can "remember" that far back??....:>

i know it may seem difficult and highly improbable at such a young age. However the relux capacitor attatched to the gludious that extends to the tip of the adnoid that protrudes past the data signal has allowed certain parts of my education thru flowerchat to stay intact !! Wow comeon Mikey you went to same school !!

Guess my capacitor wasn't in the same anode circuit as yours......:).......your anode has WWWIIIIINNNNNNGGGGSSSSSS!!

I can only imagine how much more I would know had I joined back then. In just shy of one year, you folks have crammed more into my head ~ er ~ capacitor, than could have been imagined. Thank you to all of you who had the vision to join up. I can't remember anymore if it was Clay or Mark who urged me YEARS ago to join and I pooh-poohed it. Dumba$$

Thanks mentors!
