...but you know, I feel strangely compelled to share such things with all my FC friends. My band, HeadShot, has been recording this weekend and I think we really dialed in a sound.

This is perhaps the best recording I have ever played on, and even though it is a copy of another artist's recording, it still is pretty cool...

For those FC members who are looking to waste a few minutes hearing a little music, here is a song by Hoobastank for your listening pleasure...not bad for a 40 year old fart.

So what is the going rate for cover bands in clubs these days? I have heard bands getting $4500 to $6000 a night to play in bars here in Philadelphia for only 3 hours.

I forgot to mention that this recording was in my home "studio" and that my singer Donny and I did all the recording, mixing, editing, production, and mastering by ourselves, using Cubase SX3...I think I am far more proud of that then the actual guitar playing on the song.

Allright, I am feeling a little 'ornery 2night, and really like how my guitar playing turned out on this track, so I am posting ONE MORE TIME...my lead was done 1st time, 1st take with no overdubs or nuthing. It came out so nice that I never even tried a 2nd take, and still like it 5 days later (rare!)..
