Only 50 years , I'd thought that they went back further than that cause I know Michigan was playing in the Rose Bowl shortly after the turn of the last century.

Forgot to add , Boss you've open a can of worms on who has the longest running and best rivalry in college sports. In Ontario Queen's and Mcmaster have been at it a long long time, Queen's even won 3 Grey Cups when the Amateurs still played for it.
