Are you kidding me? FTD in my phonebook!

they have been in mine for long time, big ad for FTD, then rest are local business lines, no ads, we are small town, however we have several phone books, and the local yellow book has three big ads for FTD, one smaller for American Blooms followed by three toll free numbers, one Blooms Today followed by 4 toll free numbers then Me then several local florists, then Florists.Com followed by three local shops listings followed by From You Flowers,Followed by FTD AD then two more toll free numbers followed by a full page split between two ads one American Blooms and one bloomstoday, followed by a half page ad FTd below them half page fromyouflowers.com followed by top of next page with another small FTD add a few names local and another ftd ad, next to that across page a 1/4 page ad florist.com with ftd emblems, ..........I just shut my TF off and resigned from them this week, was hanging on to FTD and 1-800 until after the Holidays, but.....this definately gets your attention and Blooms Today shows all three TF FTD and Bloomnet in their ad, Americanblooms shows Bloomnet and FTD
there are a couple of other phone books but ..same old same old, I was jut glad the main book was lighter than last year with their ads....

I've got FTD with a quarter page ad, and maybe 3 more OG listings. Better than last year.

this yellow page book was covering approx three counties...so thats why it was hit so much harder than the regular phone book...however we have two phone companies that cover basically 2-3 counties, and by a long way the yellow book had the worst amount of wire service companies listed. They boast in one of the 1/2 page adds that they have over 90 years experience and access to over 40,000 florists world wide, offer 30 % off by ordering online atwww.ftd.com/yb2 -which took me to an internet page and scrolling found the listing with that address and it had something in the addy to do with yellowassistance....I did not click that link. Others had similar links and addys with the yb in the addy. I hope you all have a good night, this tired florist is on her way to bed....sleep sweet!

Wait until they start drop shipping to your customers instead of giving you the orders to fill!!! I had a plant to A FUNERAL drop shipped at the church front door by ups from FTD. It would have sat outdoors til sunday if I hadn't come alond with my church orders. Is this the way we want our business to be recieved.? kae
