White Shoulders for me for many years. I've lost a lot of my sense of smell...never had much anyway...., so I depend on what I started wearing in undergraduate school.

i really love only two
Paloma Picasso (Shannon, i've never had any problems finding it)
and
Organza Indecence by Givenchy, the most favorite for me......but.......they are done with its production since 2006 i believe. but somehow my husband keeps finding it once in a while on internet........
Other than the obvious differences in our looks, I swear Katya, we were cut from the same cloth! I used to love a perfume by Givenchy called "fleur d'interdit".....
Just divine! They quit making it a long time ago, not sure why, or else it's another I just can't find...

Hey Navy, thanks for the tip!!!

Used to be Chanel No 5 and Rive Gauche ... now Happy or Happy to Be by Clinique ... although my husband prefers their Aromatics Elixir which he reckons is sex in a bottle! Thom maybe you should try that one but I think it is patchouli oil. Wore it in my youth as part of my faux hippy look!

I wear Tre'sor lite and soft, yet holds a statement that I'm a woman and love who I am. I was a Hair Designer for many years and found that I was 6" close to men and women and people would take offense if my aroma was to strong.Your right about body chemistry, we each have our uniqueness. I love the way some things smell on other people, but on me it stinks .

I have at least 15 different fragrances (finally had to tell hubby and kids "no more!"). I wear whatever I'm in the mood for. Favorites:

Anais Anais by Cacharel (yum)
Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker
Avon Rare Pearls
Coty Muguet des Bois (loved in my teens too)
Avon Imari (yum)

Faves on hubby:

Burt's Bees Bay Rum
Avon Unscripted (by Patrick Dempsey) ... this stuff is amazing!

I don't wear much perfume...makes me sneeze. I DO like very light, fruity and floral fragrances. My husband bought me "Happy" by Clinique and I wear that occasionally. To tell the truth, I like fragrant lotions better. My fave is the new Honeysuckle body cream by Bath & Body Works. YUMMY!

I wear Lou Lou & Jean Paul Gaultier Madam. My husband hates the Madam. He tells me I smell like a french whore (nice!!). Meanwhile, he smells like fish guts from fishing throughout the summer!

Satsuma body oil from the Bath & Body shop - clementine, mango & a bunch of other deep fruity scents. Makes me smile to smell it, hubby too.

I would ask how he knows how a French whore smells. ;)

As I mentioned earlier I do love Paco Raban. I was introduced to it while in an airport in Manzanillo Mexico. My friends and I had spent two glorious weeks and were heading home. We were waiting to check baggage when a man walked by... his fragrance left a trail that quite honestly magnetized my nose. I dropped my bags and ran after him. He told me what he was wearing and I bought two bottles for my husband... it smelled just as nice on him too. :)

:bouncy:Yay! One of my favorite topics!!!! I tried bringing it up a while back and all I got was, "I can't wear perfume, I'm allergic" :itchy:

I don't have a signature scent, I love too many!
Some of my all-time faves:

Guerlain Champs Elysees
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
Chanel Allure
Creed Spring Flower
Narciso Rodriguez

Thom, maybe it's Egyptian Musk oil? Narciso Rodriguez (the oil, not the edt or edp) smells a lot like it and it is awesome. You should pick some up for the wifey! Or better yet just get her the oil, it's like 4839934% cheaper!

I've also worn a fragrance called Kai, which is a straight gardenia fragrance and been, say, pinning on an unscented bout and the guy would go, whoa those flowers smell great!
lol

I could talk about fragrance all day! I love hearing what you guys wear.

My thoughts, too

DeeDee, that was my first thought, too, but then I live deep in the East Texas Oil Field. One of the charms on my bracelet is "black Gold" because it is very important to our economy here. You can often walk outside and smell the crude oil, but to those of us who live here it smells like Money!

My favorites are anything by Shelley Kyle, but they are not available anywhere in my area. I can get them on the net and I love them all!

Diorissimo by Dior... Love this one it's my favorite. Lilly of the Valley, White lily and Jasmine blend, difficult to find though.
I also love
Bath and Body Works Sensual Amber and Black Amethyst.

CLINIQUE ELIXIR...never ever wear it when someone asks "what do you have on ? " used to wear LAUREN and CHANEL 5 years ago..

the Middleast scent might be FRANKINCENSE & MYRRH. I bought the oils in Israel last fall. Greenleaf, Inc used to sell a FRESH SCENTS in this fragrance that was outstanding..
