Should Teleflora decide that they need to get away from favoritism and heavily cloaked deception, as many clearly state, the only way to become number one, is to pay the dues and actuall become number one Nicole !

Professional, hard working, real florists made Teleflora what it is, aside from the never ending budget possessed by the owners,,,,,,,,,,,,now it is time to pay it forward,,,,,,but does Teleflora have what it takes ?

Save The Florists,,,,,,,,,,NO,,,,,,,,,,,but maybe a campaign geared toward awareness, one that promotes the REAL FLORIST that promotes the TELEFLORA Brand, might be refreshing, but the OG's may disapprove !

So what do we do when we have tried everything?

If you're losing $$ to the OG,WS,Cosco the gas station--go after weddings, corp.,restaurants,etc. We don't have to lose. We're in a creative field, yet we can't come up with alternatives to save ourselves without airing our dirty laundry.

I have been trying everything for the past year targeting just those you speak of. I have many weddings up for this comming year but they are not paid for yet deposits only. We belong to a local networking group we have visited, called, mailed every place in the area to try and get some buisness. Nothing has broke for us. The thing that sadly kept us alive was teleflora but we went into default and now they are helpng a friend of ours and his shop to keep going. I have to have my last month and this month rent by the 20th or the eviction process beguins. I have had 4 deliveriesd all week nothing up for thanksgiving and I get to mad listening to the news saying the economy is getting better and holiday shopping will be up... for who?!?!
This shop has been in buisness for 25 years and I hate to think the local chain store and costco are going to be all thats left for my customers.
There are no jobs so I don't know what I'll do. there has been no help for us, we are stressed to a levle that's not healthy. the state won't even give me food stamps for my family and I because last year before deductions ect it showed I had income. The tax warrent I gave them a copy of still did not help. What the heck can we do? I and 3 other shops are this boat and it's sinking fast.
I would be greatful for any suggestions

From what I've read on the Save the Florist website it seems that other wire services (with the exception of TF) are competing with florists for business. Isn't this accurate or am I not understanding it correctly?

Save the florists is a campaingn for TF to min over box shipping of flowers only....TF.com already competes with us for our own local orders as does ftd and 800.....The only thing that TF does not do that the others do is drop ship flowers, everything sent through the network is 100% florist delivered, they do have a connection with from you flowers which is connected to proflowers that drop ships, but none of those orders ever get sent through TF's network....kind of a 2 headed dragon....but it is what it is...at best TF and all other ws have created multitudes of conflicts of interests...WS need the og's to give florists volume but need the florists to pay membership and need them both to feel important but in doing so they piss both off, losing proposition....hence the reason for complicated and twisted ideas of help from TF, they are trying to add to their bottom line, keep the og's happy by giving them the highest rebates and perks and keep the florists happy enough by not fully killing them financially, just maiming them enough that they can still drag themselves to work and pump out the orders....see everyone happy happy, sorry, I am in a real bad mood today and this post show it!!!!


In order for TF to come out on top, they need to pick a side to route for...if they want to route for us, they need to abandon their order gathering and stop the sending only bull and free up the thousands of orders to filter back down into the local florists and let the chips fall where they may or they need to keep everything the way it is and deal with membership losses and again let the chips fall where they may....its anyones guess how it will turn out....
