God bless you. It has only been three years since we lost our Mom and I still think of her almost daily. You have been such a wonderful son. I know that you will get your reward for that some day. Treasure all the memories and time that you were able to spend with Mom...they will get you through the tough times.

You know how to get ahold of me if you need to talk. I would welcome that call from you anytime. I do know what you are going through today. I know that she will have the most beautiful floral tribute ever! I'm sure that you are already planning what you will do. Your Mom will be so proud...I will be too.

Thanks to you all for your thoughts and kind words. Yes, I am still in a state of shock and exhaustion. I pray I can get to sleep tonight as I am sure that tomorrow will be a busy day. We went through this five years ago when we lost my dad and right now, It is a little surreal.

I will talk with my sister and hope I can find the stength to create Mom's flowers. If not, I know I can rely on an entire network of florist friends who will do a wonderful job for me.

Rick, your mother is now watching over you with pride I'm sure. She raised a good son. You proved that over and over.

Take care of you and hold all the great memories close... they will help move you through the difficult moments ahead.

I'm a firm believer that our loved ones are always with us and I'm sure your Mum will always be there to guide you too.

Dear Ricky, Many of us here on flowerchat have lost our mothers and our fathers. Their passing on to eternal life is not easy for us. But we must rejoice in the fact that they are with their Lord and Savior. Our bodies are just a temporary home for our spirit,and when that home fails and becomes unrepairable, our spirits must move on. Please go to the bookstore and buy a book called "Embraced by the Light" ,It gave me hope that we indeed shall meet again on the other side. Prayers are for you,to find the strength to continue on your path in this life.May you find peace in your heart knowing that you took such wonderful care of your mother in this life.God will show you the way.....have faith.
