With our prayers and sympathy, Ryan.

Always sad to hear of an old-time florist family lose one of their "generations"...

You are so fortunate to have been able to know your Grandfather. My Grand Dad passed on when I was very young. All that history!

Thank you, everyone. Your support is overwhelming and very much appreciated.

what a great turnout of friends for your granddad!!
Yup, Mikey, it was incredible!

We had hundreds of family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and co-committee members visit the funeral home. It was so nice of you & Sandy to come!

The funeral service on Friday was awesome as well. The church was packed, and the reception afterwards filled both wings of the church. The sermon was a fantastic reminder that even good men with a life well lived full of good deeds need Christ. My brother and two other grandchildren spoke about their memories of growing up with Grandad.

One thing I'll never figure out is how he managed to fit so much into his life and still have time for family. While raising five kids, then spending every summer at the cottage with grandkids, he still managed to accomplish so much.

Thanks to all who sent good wishes, flowers, cards, emails and more.

Ryan
