Not sure if 100 is the magic make/breaknumber but the phone call is just part of the time spent.. then you need to check next month to be sure you were only charged once for each order.. and if there is a problem you have not written trail & must rely on the receiving florist's memory or truthfullness..and if you use a cc.. then there is the liability of that card being used by the the filling florist or employee many months later so you always need to check that account. and if there is a dispute there are few ways to settle it. at least with a WS system there is hard copy and proof as to where the order originated
When training other florists I think less than 10% always checked outgoing orders.. so the fraud factor is BIG

Reconciling the credit card statement is no different than reconciling the wire service statement. Problem is many florists don't reconcile period.

As for the employees using a florist credit card fraudulently that can happen anywhere and with anyones (customers) credit cards. If you have employee cc fraud I'd be checking the $ register too.
