Bloomnet

Thought you all would love an update of our continuing saga:

Okay, it is now Dec 17th. To date, not one single phone call, e-mail, nor letter from Bloomnet about anything. No one verified that anything had been received. Their rep who called me 3 weeks ago and said she'd call back never did.

Looked up our statement from them yesterday. It shows that we owe about $90 which I was so grateful that it wasn't more.....BUT....WHAT'S THIS???? We get billed for the book. First installment of 3. You know, the book we refused and told them we didn't want nor need because we were cancelling? Called Bloomnet and their CS rep says that we are responsible for paying for the book. WHAT??? You sent the book out WAY past the time when you got our termination letter and also, it was refused and sent back. So, I ask, you are going to bill me for a book that I don't have and can't use? She says she need to check with a supervisor. Well, that was yesterday and still haven't heard anything.

Seriously, if I ran my business like this, I would be out on the street. I guess they are lucky that they have a huge supply of florists to crap on before they see a dent in their bottom line. And the beat goes on........:wallhead:

Give a call to Kervin Valencour..He was instrumental in getting my statement fixed everytime they screwed it up..He was very good at issuing credits and sending confirmation emails, to further confirm what was supposed to go on so I had some follow up..

When I cancelled in May for effective in June I sent a letter Registered mail (about $10 bucks) and all I had to do was pay the book fees for the summer, not even membership fees. They just sent me one final statement in July that had everything in it. Now cancelling FTD that was a real pain!!!!

Seriously, this is the kind of stuff that belonged on Undercover Boss. Make sure you do EVERYTHING IN WRITING and keep good logs of your phone calls. Good luck.

I have had just the opposite. I cancelled with FTD immediately. Bloomnet, however, is a completely different story.

As you can see by my previous posts, we sent a letter certified mail and also sent copies to Jim McCann, Chris McCann, Member Services and (I think) 2 to customer service. I also e-mailed it to customer service and spoke with our "rep" twice. In addition, I e-mailed the man that Lori suggested I e-mail a while back with NO reply.

Oh I have, believe me but it's like talking to a bunch of 5 year olds or "Peggy" from overseas customer service!!!!

BOSS<<< does not understand why anyone would be an affiliate filler fool for their biggest competitor... <shakes head>

Three years ago they did exactly the same thing to me. I sent back the book and they still billed me. It took 2 years to get it straightened out after they sent me to collection agency.Gregg Canigiani was who finally fixed it for me after two years of calling them sending letter after letter. Good luck.. I am ending my Teleflora subscription now and they are giving me the calls trying to keep me from leaving.

Of course they are, they are getting desperate in smaller markets, and even in larger ones, you know the ones with 100+ members like Toronto, they need to keep YOUR MONEY coming in to pay their OG's rebates.
