Interesting - And it might surprise you......As with googleing my name which brought 8 results, my e-mail address brought 6 results......interestingly, all concerning my commentary on a newsgroup devoted to the cue sport of billiards. No big secret that I love the sport and consider myself fairly good at it........not professional caliber by any means, but I can hold my own.

So Goldie, How would you respond to that?

I would respond by saying that it's still not a good idea to write things on the Internet as if you were speaking.

While spoken words will disappear, "chats" on the Internet will stay.

Whenever someone applies for a job in my shop, I always perform Google search using his/her name and, more effectively, the email address.

I encourage people to do just that; do Google search for your own email address to see what comes out.

People don't realize that anything they write on the Internet will be archived and their "publications" will be there forever for the world to see.

A private forum (such as Facebook or FC) is relatively secure, but I wouldn't count on it.

When I asked how you would respond to the e-mail search I did on my own name.....I was asking this as though you were looking at me to fill a position in your business.
